The award winning Google Lit Trips project tracks the travels of characters appearing in stories read in Kindergarten through 12th grade on the surface of Google Earth. Students become virtual traveling companions. Along the way, at each location relevant video and still media, discussion starters, and web links provide an engaging 3D virtual learning experience.
